In my opinion, the Alexander Signature Hybrid and the Alexander Signature Series (memory foam) are exceptional mattresses, especially at their price points.

The 3 distinct firmness levels of the Alexander Signature Hybrid all use the same general structure, but with somewhat varying densities and foams. Each mattress starts with 8 inches of individually-pocketed support coils. The next layer is 1 inch of “SmartFlow” support polyfoam, that is made to improve airflow and aids with heat retention. Each firmness level makes use of 3 PCF (lbs per cubic foot foam within this layer. The following layer is 1.5” of either 2.5 PCF copper-infused “Energex” polyfoam (Plush), 3.5 PCF copper-infused Energex polyfoam (Medium) or 4.5 PCF slow-recovery memory foam (Luxury Firm). The final layer is 1.5 inches of “TitanChil” cooling polyfoam. The mattress cover is 1.5 inches of 4 PCF gel-infused memory foam inside a quilted, cooling cloth. This provides a soft texture.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid is available in 3 firmness levels: Plush (3), Medium (5) and a Luxury Firm (8). Firmness level is based on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the firmest and 1 being the least firm. You can select between Plush, Medium, and Luxury firm. Weight is crucial on what works for you. Generally, heavier people prefer firmer beds while lighter people generally find they can get more hug and contour on plusher beds.
Hybrids don’t isolate motion as well as all-foam mattresses typically do, because springs permit movement to more easily move through the surface of the bed. The Alexander Signature Hybrid, however, has various foam layers above its inner-springs. These layers help the mattress absorb movement to a sizeable extent. As soon as I moved next to my partner, you could not see much motion in her body. She mentioned that she could feel the movement, although it was minimal. In spite of this, the mattress still features exceptional bounce.
In case you have mobility problems, moving around in a reclined position may be hard. Classic memory foam frequently caused a lot of sinkage that it made it challenging to move around. But if you have too much rebound, it’s easy to disturb sleep.
You may encounter some sinkage using the Alexander Signature Hybrid because of its soft foam uppermost layers. However, this sinking feeling is different from what you’d achieve with a more traditional memory foam mattress as it is reduced by the bed’s supportive pocketed coil system. This means you’ll sink, but will still have the ability to move around conveniently and get out of the bed without too much work. While there’s some sinkage here, it is not quite as dramatic as it would be about a typical memory foam bed. This creates exceptional pressure relief without that stuck-in-the-bed experience.
The inner-spring coil support base of the Alexander Signature Hybrid works to fortify its edges. This produces a level sleeping surface across the whole mattress and helps prevent sinkage and sagging around the edge of the mattress. The inner-spring coils are great at setting that strong base you require. When I moved in various positions, I felt fairly well-supported. I could feel and you can actually witness where I do sink in a little bit, but the sinkage in the mattress abruptly ends where the coils start. In spite of the plush foam uppermost layers, this bed is quite supportive, thanks to the eight inches of pocketed coils at its base. It’s very easy to get in and out of the mattress, and I am well–supported when I lay on the edge, a great asset for sleeping spouses.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid sleeps quite cool. The inner-spring coils permit adequate airflow, aiding to diminish body warmth. The foam layers, which usually trap heat, are treated with cooling gel and copper to counteract this frequent issue. This mattress is a great match for those who prefer to rest cool. This hybrid does a fantastic job of isolating and dispersing warmth, resulting in a resting feeling that is marvelously cool.
Nest Bedding Alexander
After an Alexander Signature Hybrid mattress is created, it is compressed, vacuum-sealed in plastic and sent to your front door in a box that is marked. Every time a mattress is compressed and vacuum-sealed, it tends to produce a temporary odor when it’s unboxed. This smell is known as “off-gassing.” You can expect to see this with the Alexander Signature Hybrid, however, the smell should dissipate quickly.
