Love & Sleep: The Love & Sleep memory foam mattress is constructed with layers of 2.8 PCF memory foam and polyfoam from the comfort layer. The support center is constructed from 1.8 PCF polyfoam. The Love & Sleep is available in 2 firmness options: Luxury Firm and Medium.
Alexander Hybrid Luxury Contour: The Alexander Hybrid Luxury Contour has a comfort layer with 3 layers: a cover made of 2.5 PCF copper-infused, phase-change gel memory foam; a core layer of 3 PCF polyfoam; and a base layer of 4 PCF memory foam. The support center is constructed with individually-wrapped coils and a high-density polyfoam edge reinforcement.
Hybrid Latex: The Hybrid Latex model has 1 layer of Dunlop latex in the comfort system. The support center is made with individually-wrapped coils and a base layer of 1.8 PCF high-density polyfoam. The zippered cover is made from a blend of wool and cotton.
Latex Mattress: The Latex Mattress is offered in ‘Blended Latex’ and ‘Organic Latex’ designs; the variants share the same general framework, but vary significantly when it comes to pricing with the Organic model being more expensive. Moreover, the Latex Mattress is available in 3 firmness levels. The ‘Soft w/topper’ option has a comfort layer made from soft Dunlop latex, in addition to a 3 inch Dunlop latex topper. This model is more expensive because of the addition of the topper. The ‘Medium’ and ‘Firm’ variants go without the topper; the ‘Medium’ uses a soft Dunlop latex comfort layer and a firm Dunlop latex support center, while the ‘Firm’ uses a firm Dunlop latex comfort layer and a gentle Dunlop latex support center.
In my opinion, the Alex Signature Series (memory foam) and the Alex Signature Hybrid are exceptional mattresses, especially given the price.

The three varying firmness levels of the Alexander Signature Hybrid all use the same general construction, but with somewhat varying densities and foams. Each mattress begins with 8 inches of individually-wrapped support coils. The next layer is 1 inch of “SmartFlow” support polyfoam, that’s made to increase airflow and aids with heat retention. Each firmness level utilizes 3 PCF (lbs per cubic foot foam within this layer. The subsequent layer is 1.5 inches of either 2.5 PCF copper-infused “Energex” polyfoam (Plush), 3.5 PCF copper-treated Energex polyfoam (Medium) or 4.5 PCF slow-recovery memory foam (Luxury Firm). The last layer is 1.5” of “TitanChil” cooling polyfoam. The bed cover is 1.5 inches of 4 PCF gel-infused memory foam within a quilted, cooling cloth. This offers a gentle feel.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid is offered in 3 firmness levels: Plush (3), Medium (5) and a Luxury Firm (8). Firmness is based on a scale of 1-10, with 10 being the most firm and 1 being the least firm. You can choose between Plush, Medium, and Luxury firm. Weight is going to make an impact on what works for you. Generally, heavier people fare better with firmer mattresses while lighter people usually find they can obtain more hug and shape on softer beds.
Hybrids don’t isolate motion as well as all-foam mattresses typically do, because inner-springs allow movement to more easily transfer across the surface of the bed. The Alexander Signature Hybrid, however, has several foam layers above its springs. These layers help the mattress absorb movement to a large extent. As soon as I turned and tossed next to my spouse, you could not see much movement in her body. She detailed that she could feel the movement, but it was minimal. Despite this, the mattress still possesses great bounce.
If you have mobility issues, moving around while lying down may be difficult. Classic memory foam frequently caused a lot of sinkage that it made it tough to move around. But if you have too much rebound, it’s easy to disturb rest.
You will face some sinkage with the Alexander Signature Hybrid because of its plush foam uppermost layers. However, this sinking feeling differs from what you’d obtain with a more conventional memory foam mattress as it is reduced by the mattress’ supportive individually-wrapped coil system. Meaning you’ll sink, but will still be able to move around easily and get out of the bed without too much problem. While there is some sinkage here, it is not quite as dramatic as it would be about a typical memory foam mattress. This makes for excellent pressure relief without that stuck-in-the-bed experience.
The inner-spring coil support foundation of the Alexander Signature Hybrid functions to fortify its perimeter. This provides an even sleeping surface across the whole mattress and helps prevent sagging and sinkage around the edge of the mattress. The spring coils are great at providing that firm base you want. When I moved in various positions, I felt fairly well-supported. I can feel and you can actually see where I do sink in a little bit, but the sinkage in the bed suddenly ends where the spring coils start. In spite of the plush foam uppermost layers, this bed is quite supportive, due to the eight inches of pocketed coils in its core. It is quite easy to get in and out of the mattress, and I am well–supported when I lie on the border, a great advantage for sleep partners.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid sleeps relatively cool. The spring coils permit sufficient airflow, helping to reduce body warmth. The foam layers, which normally trap heat, are treated with cooling gel and copper to counteract this frequent problem. This mattress is a good pick for those who want to rest cool. This hybrid does a great job of isolating and dispersing heat, leading to a resting feeling that’s marvelously cool.

After an Alexander Signature Hybrid mattress is made, it is compressed, vacuum-sealed in plastic and sent to your doorstep in a marked box. Every time a mattress is compressed and vacuum-sealed, it has a tendency to emit a temporary odor when it is unboxed. This odor is called “off-gassing.” You can anticipate to see this with the Alexander Signature Hybrid, however, the smell should fade quickly.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Nest Bedding provides a 100 night sleep trial on all their mattresses. Nest expects you to maintain the bed for at least thirty days before initiating a return. Any delivery expenses will not be refunded. If you choose to go the refund path, Nest Bedding will arrange for the bed to be taken and donated to a nearby charity. You’lll only need to give evidence that the product has indeed been picked up and Nest will give you a complete refund. Nest Bedding Luxury Contour Review
