This model is more pricey because of the inclusion of the topper. In my opinion, the Alexander Signature Hybrid and the Alexander Signature Series (memory foam) are great mattresses, especially at their price points.

The three different firmness settings of the Alexander Signature Hybrid all make use of the same basic structure, but with somewhat different foams and densities. Each bed begins with 8 inches of individually-wrapped support coils. The next layer is 1 inch of “SmartFlow” support polyfoam, that is designed to improve airflow and aids with heat retention. Each firmness level makes use of 3 PCF (pounds per cubic foot foam within this layer. The subsequent layer is 1.5” of either 2.5 PCF copper-treated “Energex” polyfoam (Plush), 3.5 PCF copper-treated Energex polyfoam (Medium) or 4.5 PCF slow-recovery memory foam (Luxury Firm). The final layer is 1.5” of “TitanChil” cooling polyfoam. The bed cover is 1.5” of 4 PCF gel-infused memory foam inside a quilted, cooling cloth. This provides a soft texture.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid is offered in three firmness settings: Plush (3), Medium (5) and a Luxury Firm (8). Firmness level is based on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the least firm and 10 being the firmest. You can select between Plush, Medium, and Luxury firm. Weight is important on what you would prefer. Generally, heavier people fare better with firmer beds while lighter people normally find they can achieve more hug and contour on softer mattresses.
Hybrids do not isolate movement as well as all-foam mattresses typically do, due to the fact that springs permit motion to more easily move across the surface of the bed. The Alexander Signature Hybrid, though, has several foam layers on top of its inner-springs. These foam layers help the mattress absorb movement to a sizeable extent. As soon as I turned and tossed next to my partner, you could not identify much movement in her body. She detailed that she could feel it, although it was minimal. Despite this, the bed still possesses exceptional bounce.
In case you have mobility issues, moving around in a reclined position can be challenging. Traditional memory foam usually caused so much sinkage that it made it challenging to move around. But if you have too much rebound, it’s easy to disturb sleep.
You will encounter some sinkage with the Alexander Signature Hybrid due to its plush foam uppermost layers. However, this sinking feeling differs from what you would achieve with a more traditional memory foam mattress as it’s reduced by the bed’s supportive pocketed coil system. Meaning you’ll sink, but will still be able to move around easily and get out of the mattress without too much problem. While there is some sinkage here, it’s not as striking as it would be on a typical memory foam mattress. This makes for great pressure relief with no stuck-in-the-bed experience.
The inner-spring coil support base of the Alexander Signature Hybrid works to reinforce its edges. This gives a level sleeping surface across the whole mattress and helps prevent sagging and sinkage at the perimeter of the bed. The spring coils are great at setting that firm core you require. When I moved in various positions, I felt fairly well-supported. I could feel and you can actually witness where I really do sink in a quite a bit, but the sinkage in the mattress ends where the spring coils start. Despite the soft foam top layers, this mattress is impressively supportive, due to the 8 inches of pocketed coils in its core. It’s very effortless to get in and out of the mattress, and I am well–supported when I lay on the border, a great plus for sleeping spouses.
The Alexander Signature Hybrid is relatively cool. The inner-spring coils permit sufficient airflow, assisting to reduce body warmth. The foam layers, which usually trap warmth, are treated with copper and cooling gel to prevent this common issue. This bed is a great match for people who need to rest cool. This hybrid does a wonderful job of dispersing and isolating warmth, resulting in a resting experience that is marvelously cool.

Once an Alexander Signature Hybrid mattress is created, it’s compressed, vacuum-sealed in plastic and delivered to your front door in a box that is marked. Every time a mattress is compressed and vacuum-sealed, it has a tendency to produce a temporary smell when it’s unboxed. This smell is known as “off-gassing.” You should expect to see this with the Alexander Signature Hybrid, but the odor should fade quickly.
100 Night Sleep Trial
Nest provides a 100 night sleep trial on all their mattresses. The company expects you to maintain the bed for at least thirty days prior to initiating a return. Any delivery expenses will not be refunded. If you decide to go the refund route, the company will arrange for the mattress to be taken and donated to a charity. You willl only need to provide evidence that the mattress has indeed been picked up and Nest will issue you a full refund. Nest Bedding Topper
